Tuareg Ebony Pendant
Beautifully etched silver rectangle on an inlaid piece of ebony wood with a round etched bail. Handmade with traditional geometric and gracefully tooled lines. This is an exceptional piece of tribal jewlery.
Historically, for the Tuareg, ownership of jewelry was an indication of status. More currently, it indicates wealth and place of origin. Each Saharan oasis village has its own distinctive style and its own protective symbolism.
