Gold Sea Turtle

One of the silver-linings of living here on St John after the devastating storms of 2017 is the dramatic increase in sea turtles visible in our local waters. We have always had a fair amount of these fascinating sea creatures and it was always the highlite of one's day when we got to see one. Now it can be a daily occurence and possible at times to see several. I don't know the reason or how long it might last but it feels like somehow St John is a safe haven for them and they have chosen to remain in our loving waters. One can only hope....
