Faceted Amazonite

Always drawn to this smoky tropical mix of aqua hues - with a gentle flow of pale blue and greenish blue and bright turquoisey blue - its a myriad of all our favorite calming and tranquil colors. Tiny beads that are skillfully faceted to bring out their inner sparkle. This strand of amazonite looks lovely on its own, or you can easily add a pendant, or layer with other strands or necklaces. The sky is the limit!

Amazonite has been around for over 2000 years. It has been found in excavations of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, which is present day Iraq, Syria and Turkey. Today it is found in small deposits in the US, Afghanistan, Australia, Brazil, Madgascar, Africa and around Europe. Please see below for a size reference.
