Ancient Arrowhead
Scythian 400-300bc Bronze Arrowhead. The Scythians or Scyths were an ancient Eastern Iranian equestrian nomadic people. Scythia is an area in modern day Iran and other areas of eastern Europe. Their culture existed between the ninth and fourth centuries B.C. The Ossetes, an Iranian ethnic group, are the last remaining linguistic and cultural descendants of this ancient nomadic race. They reside in the northern and southern regions of the Caucasus Mountains. They are also closely aligned with Russia.
This intriquing arrowhead is set with a sterling silver bail. It is easy to wear and would look great on a sterling silver or oxidized chain. It also would look good on a leather cord.
